Description
Work with a team to partially redesigned Craigslist website based on a task flow of posting and applying for jobs.
Initial User Testing
Performed an initial user testing of Craigslist and analyzed the site's pros and cons.

Benchmarking
Comparisons were made with competing sites to generate potential design solutions for the problems found in initial testing.

User Heuristics
The key problems found in initial user testing were expanded upon and further defined using the 10 user heuristics.

Site Mapping
User flow and elements of Craigslist were listed down and organized into a sitemap to help tailor design adjustments

Benchmarking 2
Further benchmarking was required to narrow down a more concrete design solution.

Tab Analysis
Taking into account previous benchmarking, Craigslist's main design features were examined more closely before deciding on a design proposal.

Design Proposal
A full design proposal was made that included, a general explanation of the general design vision moving forward, the objectives of the redesign, the rationale of the design, target audiences, usage context, and final deliverables of the re-design.

Persona Creation
Personas were created to help personalize and target our design decisions to our target audience on a more personal level.

Affinity Map
Described potential struggles and considerations that each persona may have while walking through the re-designed site.

Task Flow Brainstorm
New task flows were brainstormed for the re-designed site, identifying the steps the user would need to take to complete their objectives.

User Flow
A personal user flow was created for each persona that describes the steps the user would take going through the site.

Paper Wireframing
Developed a initial paper wireframe that covers the essential task flow and encompasses the general design vision laid out in the design proposal.

Paper Wireframe Notes
After creating the paper wireframe, user testing was performed in class and notes were taken based on peer feedback and observations during user testing.

Digital Prototype
A 2nd iteration was made digitally in Figma that took into account feedback from the previous user testing. Initial prototyping for user interaction was also done.

2nd User Testing
User testing performed in class again with the digital prototype. Notes were taken again based on feedback from peers and observations during testing.

Style Guides
A full comprehensive style guide was created to guide design decisions on essential brand elements such as, icons, color, and type.

Full Color Prototype
The style guide was implemented into the first digital prototype along with the feedback from the 2nd user testing round. At this point, full user interactivity was also completed.

3rd User Testing
After user testing, the final changes were made to the design.

Error Interactions
On top of displaying the basic prototyping for the regular task flows, a demonstration of the extra interactions, made to account for user error, were also created.
